| Even though the ingredients are not hazardous, used antifreeze
may become contaminated with lead or hazardous solvents at levels that
would make the used antifreeze hazardous. If used antifreeze is not recycled,
it must be tested to determine if it is a hazardous waste.
For more information
concerning the proper handling of antifreeze, contact the
Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Solid and
Hazardous
Waste (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/waste/categories/shw/default.htm)
or the Florida Center for Solid and Hazardous Waste Management
(http://floridacenter.org).
